Thursday and Friday

We went to Panaca, a huge petting zoo, with the Aherns, the Thompsons, the Tanners, and the Housemans.  This "petting zoo" was incredible!  You can feed baby calves, milk cows, watch pig races, feed pigs and goats, ride ponies and llamas - the kids loved it!  Actually, Maria was a bit nervous about getting close to the animals, so she just watched from a safe distance attached to me!

Yes, this animal was just roaming around at one point!  We were a little concerned as it trotted toward us and no one at the zoo seemed to notice or be concerned!

This is at a steak house that we went to after the zoo.  It was one of the most interesting restaurants to say the least.  For those in West Michigan, it was like being at a Sam's Joint, but ten times wackier/fuller in decor and staff!  (Thus this guy in the photo.  A group of staff came to our table and seranaded us with song and confetti in the colors of the Colombian flag.  The kids loved it!)

Hi Guys,
I just love getting to look at these photos you are posting. I know you are adjusting to each other and getting to know Maria, but you look like you are on vacation with your family as it has always been. I prayed for you last night, Carlos and can't wait to see you on Skype today. I miss your cute little smile and hugs!
What is the story with the pigs racing??
Love you all!
Lori
